Wedding Photography in Buxtehude & Hamburg – Maria and Lukas

Maria and Lukas celebrated their wedding between Buxtehude and Hamburg—combining meaningful places, beautiful architecture, and a celebration that felt elegant, personal, and full of energy.

Buxtehude, just outside Hamburg, is one of those charming northern German towns that feels timeless. With historic streets and beautiful architecture, it was the perfect place for Maria and Lukas to begin their wedding day. Because both have such a strong connection to Buxtehude, celebrating there felt especially personal and meaningful.

After the ceremony, the celebration continued in Hamburg at Henssler’s Küche. The modern interior, beautiful atmosphere, and incredible food created the perfect contrast to the historic surroundings earlier in the day.

For this wedding I photographed with both digital and analogue film photography. Maria and Lukas loved the idea of combining timeless film with digital imagery—capturing real moments with softness, texture, and a nostalgic feeling while keeping the full story beautifully documented.

For couples planning a wedding in Hamburg, Buxtehude, or anywhere in northern Germany, this wedding is beautiful inspiration for wedding photography that feels elegant, relaxed, and genuinely personal.
